The Entrance Men's Shed Inc working with Wyong Shire Council have now opened an exciting new facility for community involvement with men in a workshop environment in the precinct of The Entrance Community Centre, Oakland Road, The Entrance.
19 June 2009
TEMS Equipment
The main pieces of equipment that The Entrance Men's Shed acquired from the Open Shutters donation are the large air-compressor, a photocopier and a large table saw.
All equipment that would have to be purchased to fit out the workshop. All in good working order and the three phase power outlets are getting a workout already. Much of the other items were too large to fit The Entrance Shed but were keenly snapper up at other sheds seeking to expand the capability of their sheds and ensureing that access to these excellent machines remains within the reach of Mens Shed's in the Central Coast and Hunter region.
The Entrance Men's Shed provides a place for men to gather and share skills and stories while developing friendships and working together on projects that benefit themselves and the community.
